Bridge Church provides help for inmates upon release from prison. Prisoners require everything from clothing, to hygiene items, to transportation, to jobs, to help with finances especially for the first month upon release. Prison Fellowship is looking for welcoming churches to help inmates re-enter society.

Free training and resources will be provided by Prison Fellowship. Follow up and support will also be provided.

Looking for someone with soft computer skills, able to answer the phone in a friendly manner and speak with compassion to ex-prisoners and their families and relay information about available resources (provided), be able to take messages, be able to call organizations and pastors in a professional manner to set up appointments for Director, answer questions via phone and email regarding Out4Life Conference. Volunteer will need phone, computer and internet access. Maximum 20 hours per week from now until March 3.

Out4Life Conference  is a conference Prison Fellowship is hosting for governmenst entities, churches, non-profit and Christian organizations, and businesses which will give resources, information and tools to help as they work with ex-prisoners and their families. The goal is to develop 6 re-entry coalitions around the state of Tennessee including Nashville.

PFM is looking for people who can research the internet for churches, organizations, businesses, law enforcement agencies, existing coalitions that might be interested in/benefit from this conference. We are looking for 40 exhibitors for the conference. We need people who are comfortable with “cold calling” both by telephone and in person in order to “get the word out” regarding the conference.

50 men and women mentors for the “Out for Life” program – mentor men and women 6 months from release from prison. Mentor will visit inmate at least once per week while in prison and at least once per week post-release. Consistency, commitment and dependability is extremely important in this role. The mentor role lasts a minimum of one year.

Free training and resources will be provided by Prison Fellowship. Follow up and support will also be provided to mentors.
